My instructor who is a Paramedic Sup with AMR used to work with them. He said it's a good place to get into. It was mentioned more than once. I thought about applying but LA EMSA is dragging their feet certifying me.

Just a heads up from first hand experience. If you're BLS you have a 1 in 100 chance of getting hired on with AMR (or Goldcoast, now owned by AMR) in Ventura county. ...Also it escapes me, but there is a third service here; it's mandatory due to regulation within the county that there be 3...
