I don't recall how their 911 calls work exactly, but i think it's a matter of 911 calls being relayed and handled by the private EMS company, being that they are coming from, say, a nursing home/facility that is contracted with the private EMS agency.
Private EMS? Depends on your preferences as working as an EMT, for this type of work will be mostly predictable and on the less-chaotic side of EMS, presumably it will pay less but you will most likely have pre-assigned transports. Check into Mobile Martin in Cleveland as well (if you like...
