Yes, they are disposable. I understand costs, but it is not to much to ask for everyone's safety that each person have their own. (Write their name on it, leave it at clinic) You don't know what germs are on you, let alone someone else!! It's like putting someone else's sweaty tshirt on.

Our dialysis clinic has started making us wear PPE when we go in the treatment area. I completely understand this. However, they will not give us our own jackets. We have to share them with every other visitor. There are at least 3 ambulance services that take patients there. At least 6 people...

in class, we had to make books that had the drug name, mg, dosage, contraindications, indications, and so on. after we finsished class, we kept these books and carried them with us, just in case we forgot something, or wanted to double check what we were about to do.

In tennessee, they have the emt-iv cewrtification. You can do iv's and give 11 different drugs, they are about to change this, and put the emt-iv's on an intermediate level, and the first responders on the basic level. It all depends on which state you come from and what their levels are.

the company i work for uses the verizon phones with walkie talkie. however, i do not have a walkie talkie phone, as i see no need for it. if they cant reach me on the truck phone, then they know my cell number. i would go for whatever phone iwanted.

there might be hope for you yet... if you can find a private service to work for.. normally they typically carry non-emergency transports, where lights are not requiered... or in the emergency world, if you can show that your epilepsy is controlled by medication, you might have a chance.. also...

around here, combi tube might not be in jump bag, but et tubes will be.. bvm def..

well i do not know about baltimore.. but here in tennessee, i went on ride alongs and then decided to go to emt classes... just call up the ambulance/fire services in your area. (even if they are private services) and ask them if you can do a ride along.. most places will be more than happy to...
