I agree that appearance is everything. The service that we are at is very rural and I saw the paramedics wearing polo shirts and the EMTs were wearing t-shirts with their cargo uniform pants. I don't think one way makes it any more professional than the other if you have a clean uniform on...

Gig line...I haven't heard that term since I was in the Navy.

I brought this up tonight at our class and the lead instructor said it would be fine and that other classes did the same thing. He even said we could use it when it came time for our ride alongs...

I am probably just as far along in my EMT-B as you are and this is what I do. We go over 2 chapters a night. During the class they have a slide presentation that they do the lecture with. We have access to those slides beforehand. I print them, write them in my notebook and then type them...

Oh I really like this!! It is very affordable too! We can put our service name on one line, EMT on the next and then Student on the last line! May be too much...or we can just do two lines with EMT and Student. ?? Sound good??

Is there an EMT Student t-shirt/polo out there anywhere? Some of us were talking that it would be neat to have one that says the name of the service where we are training and have the Star of Life and EMS Student

Thanks...this fall will be a great milestone for us as our last child starts Kindergarten. I don't know whether to sleep for the first two weeks or throw a big party!! I will finish school in Sept. and finish my degree in Dec. So I am assuming it will be about Nov or Dec when I start working...
