Has anyone taken, or know anyone who has taken the CCEMTP course in Augusta? Im looking to take it in the fall and was hoping for some insight/helpful tips?

My advise to you would to go into your local ambulance service and spend some time with the staff. Run calls, when your not running calls ask questions, go through scenerios.. Hands on experience is the best wayto learn.

I'm going to be taking a CCEMT-P class this coming year.. Anyone have any experience with the class? Which locations are the best?

I've got a few places narrowed down. I've been looking around in Tennessee and Michigan. My main goal is to get out of the state of Illinois and find a solid, up to date EMS system to work for.

I have been strongly considering the NR exam and would like to take it. I know a lot of states require it so it sounds like the best route. Even with NREMT-P I have read that some states have additional testing and/or fees. Just trying to find out which states are easiest to work with.
