Well, I had no idea radios were so involved. My radio knowledge basically includes turning it on and selecting a channel. Also, I may have a newfound respect for that old radio lol!

My volunteer fire department issues very old radios. A few of the guys have better radios issued from other jobs (police, EMS). I’m thinking about just buying my own radio; does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

I’d definitely pay for it. I wonder if you could have an online class where an instructor controls a simulation for a multiple students? So they would guide the simulation for the whole group.
