Personally, I think that EMT-B's are being taught just enough about meds to get themselves into trouble. I think other than 02, they should not be able to touch any other drugs. Too much can go wrong.

As far as Basic classes, I think they should just do away with the Basic program all together. I think it is just a waiste of time. I mean if someone is going to be an EMS provider, why not go ahead and be a real provider. Paramedic is the only way to go...
Obviously he had not really stopped breathing all together. Narcan is a wonderful drug. But, I disagree with giving the who 2 of Narcan. You titrate to resp. improvement.

Getting an education is not anything one should make light of, however they should strive for excelence in the highest level of education they an acheive, especially when trying to call themselves saving lives.
