Is there any kind of equipment on an ambulance that would help dilute a drug with a solvent? For instance, if you had to dilute morphine to make it a 1 mg per ml concentration, is there something on the ambulance to help do that? Thanks...

Does anyone know of any "tricks of the trade" for starting IVs on diabetics? Their veins are already crappy. Luckily the call I just went on wasn't in dire need of an IV. Getting IVs on diabetics is tough for me. I've only been an intermediate for 4 months. I don't really have any trouble...
