Nope. We have Mark 1 kits for the exposure and escape hoods (pretty much like gas masks) to prevent further exposure.

All units (BLS and ALS) in my service carry the 2 Mark-1 and 2 Escape hoods for the crew. I for one hope never to use them. And I hope if I DO have to use them I don't have a third rider on board! :)

Same in MA. Why would a company, a good one at least, take the chance when they will have a large number of applicants with clear history. I agree that I'm glad to see it keeping people out. Shows utter lack of judgement on your part. I wouldn't be comfortable with someone with poor judgement...

Are you interviewing in MA or LA?

Yep. I know for a fact they do. It's a 4 part test: Practical, Written, Map reading and finally interview. All on one day. It's grueling but I like to know the people that I work with passed it! If you are planning to work in Cataldo, I have to say they are a good company to work for.

Also, if you notice, other medics use gloves on patients. I'd say it's more a device used by Scorcase to highlight his emotional turmoil and decent into burnout.

When you're looking at companies to work in, I would advise one that has a test. Reason being, at least you know the people working there are good and can still do the job! Good luck!
