Just out of curiosity, what have you experienced??

I live out in California and I was wondering, when EMS Agencies send you to a 4-day Academy, what do they usually do? Is it paramilitary like a police academy? We have to wear white polos, blue or black slacks, and black shoes for the 4 days. Do they usually have homework at night?

It's actually IFT, event standby's and BLS. Their other location in Solano County does 911. It's a great start :) I'm actually trying to get into Medi-Flight later on, so it gives me a chance to do my studies as well.
