    Yes this is true, a medic that I work with wife's is deaf. He states there are many different dialects just as in speaking but most people understand what you are saying. Steve Berry's presentation that I was speaking of earlier, does not focus on teaching you how to sign in an hour class...

    Hello, just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a paramedic for 8 years and an EMT Basic before that for 7 years. Currently I work for a private ambulance company in Oregon and also I am the EMT Program Coordinator for our local community college.

    What about administering D50 PR? It is not anyones favorite means for administration, but when all else fails, it is a great route to give D50. Just a thought. I have administered it PR before with positive results.
