Accident whilst at sea Thaughts and advice

As a basic- you often got the "WHY ARENT YOU DOING ANYTHING FOR ME" look, yell, scream or stare. Everyone sees EVERYONE getting 02 on TV... so they think thats treatment. So, give it to 'em is my theory. Makes it seem as if you are doign more for them-and as I tell some of my more "spunkier"...

    D50 Orally

Everything is always situational, and no one can really accurately say... In my experience, I dont know if it was a lack of creativity or what but I've never heard of D50 orally... interesting though. Thats one of those lil tid-bits you put in the back of your 'filing cabinet' for when you...

Idk if I'd push him to full c-spin immobilization if I didn't...

    Restraining Psyche Patient

ps. A maglight works well tucked into the lower of your back (into your pants or belt). It can serve as a pretty hefty self-defense tool, and usually the pt doesnt' know you have it. Used this one quite frequently.. Also.. you never know when you will need a light! :D

    Restraining Psyche Patient

Weellll.... I'm going to assume that your instructor is giving you this scenario because 1) he wants to drill home the point of scene safety, and see if as a medic student- you can still think back to the basics, or 2) you did not know that the pt had a knife until half way through attempting...
