In a tiny northern Michigan town called Gaylord, they have a Special Ops unit designated as similar to "Tactical EMS" The company is Otsego County EMS. Give them a call? A guy named Mike C is huge in their educational dept and I know he's on the Special Ops unit.
Actually, the answer that they would like is TRUE. We had a very similar question, and although several sources say that they wouldn't do that, that is the answer that they want you to say.
I'm also a student who will be starting clinicals shortly. There is one thing to never forget. We will NEVER be as useless as Police. They're good for two things. Road Blocks and Canaries. If the canary doesn't pass the fume test, then we don't go in.
