Ive been making flash cards out of the AAOS NREMT study guide book. I hope that book is enough to pass the test. Not that I dont remember what I learned in class but the NREMT seems to have slightly different expectations than what my experienced teacher taught us to do when we get on the streets.
If an ambulance is coming down the right side of a road that has a divider, does the left side have to stop? Sounds like a stupid question but I see a lot of people pull over despite a 10ft space between the opposite lanes.
Hey, I recently passed my EMT-B class and am just waiting on my NREMT results. What I am more concerned with is getting a job, my instructor said that Medic One is hiring anyone with a pulse (and a liscense). However I always wondered if working downtown is as bad as everyone makes it sound.
