generally,ECMO is used in a clinical setting by an RT. wouldn't it be nice to have such a machine on unit?

you need to finish an EMR program in Calgary to even be considered as a ride along and thats even 30/70 because they are booked solid with practicum students. I'm going to give you a little advice. Know ACP,know how they run exams,know how they ask questions and certainly know that compentency...

the instructors at ESA were fantastic.I did a ACP prep course there. I would recommend that school to anyone.

after you deliver a shock,remember to stay consistent with cpr. if you go checking for a pulse after words,you will fail. just a tip. time is crucial. cheers.

study the states protocols,and compentencies. Know everything you can possibly know about EMTB and I would say go as far as knowing even some EMTI material for the sake of knowledge. Know your critical failure points in any exams,know your medications well. And finally,remember finally...
