In our class it is 15:2 for infant or child. start CPR on an infant if pulse is less than 60....for a 9 year old with a pulse of 52 no.

Do a little research on the county ambulance department. The company I work with has a web site and I read and learned every service and piece of equipment that they have. The information came in handy. Good Luck!!

I'm a recent EMT-B graduate. I was planning to get 2 years experience then attend medic class. I have been invited (by my former instructor) to go straight into medic class (October 2009). I voiced my concern about lack of experience. He still thinks it is a good idea. Any thoughts?????
