Mini Phantom is a good light. I have used them before. Check out the flash back shield from Galls. Major improvement in glare reduction when responding at night. Be safe!!

In VA, Red -OR- Red and White. I used to volly when I lived there and that's what we used. Please take into consideration safety and courtesy for installing POV lights. This is much more important than the "cool factor".

Been there too, sort of. I charged CL1 before it was completely pulled out at a car fire. I also saw an overly excited Bat. Chief charge an entire hose bed of 2 1/2. That was fun.

The link above is for Rescue Training. They are a great institution based out of Savannah. I have taken classes there as well as many people I know. Unfortunately, I have not been through the EMTT class so I cant comment on that, however, I can highly recommend them as far schools go. ETA...

There is a difference. The current Intermediate in GA is the I85 curriculum. To the best of my understanding, the new Advanced is similar to the I99 curriculum but with more airway, cardiac, and drugs.

Also, from what I have been told, after 1 Jan 2012, EMT-I will no longer be taught or recognized in GA. (Current Intermediates will be grandfathered in) The new standard levels will be EMT-B, EMT-A (Advanced) and EMT-P. As I understand it, EMT-A will be similar to the current EMT-I/99.
