we had to call in our reports by radio or cell phone.. I mainly used cells we just gave the basics pt age, cc, hx, how far out we were and if they had any info for us, mostly it went smooth sometimes if u forgot to call in they would get pissy.

The company I worked for in TX we were not allowed to wear shorts, even when it was 110. No one seemed to mind too much, if givin the chance i would not wear shorts.

At my company 90% of our pts are dialysis pt and we pick most of them up 3x a week. they are all in esrd, the thought of any of my pts driving them selfs is really scary or just not even a possability. I am a donor, even before I got into ems, However I never really thought much about cadaver donation. I plan on being creamated anyway. I will have to look into that, I am not even sure where I would go to look into that, anyone with any info would be great.

We never had our grades posted in emt-b class. Even if we had it would not have botherd me, I was close to the top but not the top, I had no problem helping out other students, unless the students did not really care and there were a few of those. I think it is a good feeling to help people out...

well I definaltly love helping people even though most of my pts dont even realize what is going on. Kinda sad really but at least I know that I am doing my part to make people a little more comfy. Also the free food is an added bonus I never knew about till I started working. :)

I work on a IFT truck, It is not complicated but you do have to pay attention, never try to move more that you feel comfortable moving and ask questions. The only thing with IFT is sometimes I dont feel like I get to utilize all of my skills, and on occasion we do back up local fire dept for 911...
