Make sure you know your a&p, they don't go very in depth in the program considering a&p 1 and 2 were pre-req's to the program. But a good knowledge of a&p will DEFINITELY help throughout the program. They're great teachers, just passed at hfcc the last program around. You'll do well if you work hard

As for tips and pointers, study your *** off, and don't get behind. Its a rough 40 weeks. Good Luck!

Not for Medic at HFCC, only for basic they do the practical at the school.

My names Kevin...I'm 21, currently an emt-b and in Medic school, only a couple weeks left..then takin the NR. Plan on doin my fire academy either fall or winter. I've been a member on the site for a while, but I haven't done much posting though. I do like some of the discussiobs though...

13 weeks into my medic program...a little advice, don't worry so much..If you study enough and know your stuff, you'll be fine.

hey everyone, I was wondering if anybody knows of a good app for a phone with Palm OS to study rhythms when I'm on the go. Lord knows I can't lug my book around with me everywhere lol

HFCC is good too. It's in Wayne county though in Dearborn. There are no classes for I's. Just a 3 semester program for P.

Definitely. I wouldn't want somebody saving my life who only got a 60 in the class lol

That's how it was in my class too, you can be passing the whole time but if you don't pass the final you fail the class. Only difference was we had to get 80%

It is to some people. 3 people walked out the first day after our program director said anybody with a felony can't take the class lol. It was mostly because people didn't study, and they tried getting by by arguing every question they got wrong.

Our class started with about 25-30 people. At the end of the semester there were 14 that took the final, and only 6 that passed it.
