I think that there should be an IV and vitals before any NTG is given. Especially if the pt isnt prescribed it and doen't know their reaction to it. I would hate to give it to someone who is sensitive to it. Also,I've heard on rare occasions when someones having a Rt Sided MI NTG can bottom...
