i live in state of NY i plan on to apply for FDNY and my local small towns

im not sure i have to check my DD214 but last time i saw it was code 3 "Individuals who are not qualified for continued Army service, but the disqualification is waiverable. Ineligible for enlistment unless a waiver is granted" i can come back in with a waiver...

Thanks guys..... now i heard from some people since its a ELS discharge its like i never been in the army since it was so short...i have been told that it will only be on my record for 1 year after that the Army will erase my military history. now im confused rather or not i should mention it...

Hi Everyone! I am about to start my EMT course in august. I have a quick question about employment I was is in the US Army and got a ELS discharge ( a discharge before 188 days) because a family member was really sick and i needed to return home. Will this type of discharge hurt my chances...
