    EMTs and employment

I agree as well that EMT's are mass produced. I'm still gonna push for a 911 job, I think a little bit of drive can set those apart from the other dime a dozen healthcare providers.

    AMR Application Help

Lame I would assume that the paramedics wait list is shorter as there are less of them? I guess the best thing to do is just be persistent, and hope. My current manager is friends with the operations manager in San Joaquin maybe that's a plus^_^

Really, you contacted the Recruiter.. I like that. I contacted the Alameda county HR office and they only gave me info on the San Joaquin county hiring freeze. I'm not too worried about the interviewing portion, it's just getting to that point that is killing me.

I've been certified since August and applying since October, nothin yet. Get your Ambulance Driver Certificate; some places will not hire you with out it. I wish I would have gotten mine right after I passed the NREMT.

    Take NREMT-B test monday....advice please!!!!

Pren Hall has subtests on all the chapters in their book, it helped me out a lot in class. The NREMT is easy, at least that is how I felt, definitely a stressful test though. GOOD LUCK
