You should also look at the Cleveland area, which is north of Chattanooga. It costs -a lot- less to live there, and you can still visit Chattanooga or be employed there. Bradley County EMS is Cleveland's service, though there are a couple more that do rural. Lovely area!

We arrive at the hospital and check in with the Charge Nurse, who appoints an employee to follow and assist. The employee is supposed to be a tech, which here is a paramedic, but it usually ends up being a nurse.

Summer class here is 10 weeks, where as the usual classes are 16 weeks. So might wanna look around for a summer course!
