we do have arms, but the veins are so visible and i feel like i can get them with my eyes closed, unfortunately that's not the case with most patients i have encountered, another issue i run into is if i miss the first time the pt. automatically wants someone else to do it, how do i get around that

interesting you say Pa. allows surgical airways, because we just had our class for crichoidotomy, and our teacher said even though we learn surgical, that Pa. does not allow it in our scope. I have not looked at my protocols yet, but i assume my teacher, (also a flight medic in Pa.) would know...

hey guys, got a test coming up on med calculations, IV drip rate, etc... amy chance you guys know of any sites, or useful methods for figuring out drip calculations. any help would be appreciated.

ok guys, i am doing my homework for medic class tomorrow and our teacher told us to look up the differences between 5 laryngoscope blades and to explain them. i can't find anything in my book or online as to advantages or disadvantages of these blades, besides straight and curved. any help...

ok, this may be a stupid question, but i am a new EMT, currently going to medic school. so i was curious if anybody has any recommendations on sunglasses. something good, stays on the face, all that good stuff.
