Anyone know how the new Massachusetts process works?

So MA just changed over to the NREMT process on 7/1/13. I'm the first group from my training institution to go through this new process. I've already taken and passed the NREMT written exam. Last Saturday, 9/21/13, we took the practical. Does anyone know how we'll be notified if we passed...

Post the # your test stopped at, and if you Passed/Failed

Actually I think it was actually about 3 weeks. First one was 8/24/31 and the second was 9/16/13.

Sorry for taking so long! For the NREMT you have to wait 15 days between failed tests. I re-scheduled mine as soon as I could and took it a couple days later. So I'd say it was about 2 1/2 weeks between test.

    Massachusetts EMT Jobs

Thanks for the info guys!! It's much appreciated. I definitely plan on applying to Pro along with Cataldo/Atlantic, Patriot, and probably a few others. I'd say Pro is my first choice though.

You know its funny you mentioned that. Airway was, for some reason, one of the areas I was stuggling with. But I've been studying with EMTPrep for the past few weeks and I am proud to say that the second time around I passed! I didn't see what question I was on but I think it was around the...

    Massachusetts EMT Jobs

Anyone have any info on Pro EMS in Cambridge? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews. They seem pretty good and being in Cambridge they're probably pretty busy. Any chance they'd hire a brand new basic? I also was interested in working there because employees get 50% off of their medic school.

    Boston area companies

I realized after that I posted the first one in the wrong place and I didn't know how to move or delete it. I've looked at some of the MA threads and a lot of them are a year old or more so I was looking for some updated info.

    Boston area companies

Hi guys, So I know there's several posts like this but the ones I've seen are pretty old and I know things change so I figured I'd ask. I'm taking my practical pretty soon and I've been looking around for companies to work for once I'm licensed. I live in a suburb of Boston so a company in...

    EMTPREP - first impressions

One more thing: I'm not sure if you've taken the test yet but I took it once before signing up EMTPrep. From what I can see the types of questions are very similar to the ones I saw on the NREMT exam. My NREMT test had a lot of scenario based questions and a bunch had more than one answer...

    EMTPREP - first impressions

I just signed up for this a couple weeks ago as well. There's definitely some repeats but so far I've seen a decent amount of variety though. I've gone through a handful of times and I'm just gonna keep going through until test time. I've also seen huge improvement since I started it. Plus...

    NREMT Retest

So I failed the NREMT written test the first time. I know I have to wait 15 days but my question is do I have to wait 15 days from the day I took the test? Or the day I got the results? Also how do I go about registering for a retest? Do I have to do the "create initial entry application"...
