I hope you haven't joined them yet. MedResponse used to be an ok company. IFT in LA county = slave work to dialysis centers. They work you hard, like a dog. Some of their rigs are terrible too. Exhaust fumes galore.

Hey, thanks for the replies. Care sounds great. I wish I had known all these facts when I applied for jobs. Right when I got an offer from my current IFT company, Care gave me a call for an interview. I was too stupid to accept it haha.

Anyone know the pay for Care? Also, is it true that you must run IFT's for 6 months before being considered for 911?

Ah, I think I know which one you're talking about. This is all a shame really. I was kind of hoping to work for Gerber, thinking it would be more fun than an IFT company. May be a blessing in disguise though, seeing as how Torrance is like 1.5 hours from my home during peak hour traffic.

Also, I've read on this forum that Gerber does IFT as well as 911. Anyone know the ratio of 911:IFT in the Torrance area?

I wonder if they're still hiring. I sent an app in not too long ago. Although, seems like not too many people have good things to say about Gerber. It's too bad about the Santa Monica contract.

You all think McCormick will start hiring if they do get this contract?

Yeah, I took the 3 week accelerated course. It was a lot of fun. That's also the reason my A and P was one day.
