The first time I drove an ambulance was when I did my EVOC course. Just take your time and drive safely.

As the people before mentioned I think you will get better value out of the AMLS class. ACLS is just about rhythm recognition and a some drugs. The AMLS class is more in-dept about medical condition's which will help you immensely as a EMT.

I think we should be wearing all the ppe that is available to us. Hi-viz jackets should be worn when at the scene of a MVC. It is up to you to protect yourself. We have a duty to get back home safe each night. Yes a scene can become dangerous very quickly but if I have the slightest inclination...

Treat them as if this is the first time you have seen them. If they have been to the ER for a similar complaint make note of it and pass it on the staff of the ER. I am sure they will know who they are.

I would suggest looking at a different program. Hopefully there is one near you.

Passed at 80 in less than a hour.:)
