Hi! I am new here and didn't see a search, so sorry if this is a repeat. I am looking at West Coast EMS as a part time job, now my kids are grown. Does anybody know anything about them? They hire you as an independent contractor. Does that mean I need to get my own insurance? Thanks!

Perhaps you can contact them directly through their website http://www.westems.com and see if they can answer any questions you may have prior to submitting an application for employment with them.

Thanks, I plan to sometime this week. Just wondered if anyone else has their own insurance and what kind to get. I will call my insurance agent this week also.
