Wondering if anyone can help answer this question. I obtained a dwai in nys i blew 0.07 under the legal limit. It’s labeled as a traffic infraction. I spoke with nys dept of health & im fully cleared to continue practicing as an emt. Curious as to if this bars me from working for a ems agency. I had plans on going to medic school but unsure if i would even be hired by a company . Any help or insight to this would be greatly appreciated.

as a regulatory thing, probably not (as you found out). however, each ems agency is different, so you might want to direct your question to agencies you want to work for.
