Wondering if anyone here was on a team. It looks like most of the medic positions have been cut, as well as a lot of ancillary positions.
The beauty of my old team was the diversity. yes, we had docs, nurses, NPs, logistics. Most everyone had a dual cert, for example, loggies, comms, etc, were all paramedics as well. Go to the field, and we TONS of medical folks available. I started as a medic, then stepped up to team security officer. Again, dual certs.
Me thinks most of this started when we got pulled from FEMA and picked up by HHS. Seems like we've been in turmoil for the past 12 years, back to 2005 or so when that happened.
