I just got back from a multi-alarm incident in our area.I had never thought about it before, but one of our mutual aid agency brought over a decon tent as a misting/rehab station, which worked great. In summer we deal with 90 plus degrees and 100 percent humidity at most incidents. I just wanted to share the idea with others and kind of curious to see if other agencies have a similar practice.

One of our fire departments has a breathing support unit which has a good amount of seats in the back of the cab, a really powerful AC system, and motor home type restroom for rehab. I've also seen "cooling" vests that look kind of like bullet- resistant vests that circulate cold water. During the summer we get heat up to 125 degrees.
