Confusion on when to give Neb treatments and what to use..

This is one of those things that I like to hear from active medics about. It's probably simple but it's something that confuses me. When do YOU give a breathing treatment and why do you or don't you give albuterol and atrovent or just albuterol?

Paramedics: What was your FIRST critical call(on your own), and how did it affect you as a medic?

How did you do? How soon did it happen after you were on the street on your own?

I've never taken an A&P class, how much if any will this effect me as a Medic?

Thanks for the reply. This is more in line with what medics at my dept have to say(And the vast majority of them are strictly Medic, not suppression). I work at a very busy department, our transport time is going to be less than 10 minutes so it's a different type of "care" I suppose. I just...

I've never taken an A&P class, how much if any will this effect me as a Medic?

Well, I guess I can say thanks for the honest reply lol. Even though it was little offensive as I'm going to be one of those "hose dragging" medics, minus the mustache :P

I've never taken an A&P class, how much if any will this effect me as a Medic?

I'm strictly referring to being out on the "street". Can I still be the best medic I can be, in your opinion? How big of a deal do you think it is regarding medics who have never taken a formal A&P course/class?

Help with A&P refresher for free

Here we go! A know-it-all asking pointless, rhetorical questions. How about you answer my question or go reply somewhere else? I asked for general suggestions, not your opinion on what people in my position should do. Not everyone's situation is the same and allows for that time and...

    Failed The NREMT

Sorry you didn't pass this time, but no biggie, think about what you can learn from it. You know how the test is formatted and what type of questions they use. The questions may seem complicated or difficult and although they may be a little difficult, there's pretty much one thing they're...

Just wondering, most people who say they passed, say it stopped between 70-90. Im hoping to be stopped right at 75 haha. Also, if I'm taking my test in the evening, does anyone know how early in the morning, the next business day, the nremt site will have the results? Thanks

    Confusing airway question..

No, not confusing at all, very helpful actually. I guess I got confused and thought being cyanotic is a direct sign of inadequate breathing when in reality it's inadequate perfusion? So only artificial ventilation when there's signs of poor ventilation such as chest rise, tidal volume? If it...
