frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a
taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is
bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but

Or to the headaches people get when they try to read 100-word posts that are written like that.

I guess that goes to show how powerful the brain is, when in order to actually "read", or comprehend what's meant to be portrayed in a writing while it's "messed" up such as that.

But hey, I do agree with SeanM028 -- that is really annoying when you attempt to read a post, and the entire thing is written that way, or with other substitutes such as "your" as "ur" (not specifically that, just an example).

This has nothing to do with condoning or defending poor spelling. It has everything to do with the wonder of how our minds work. The point is, as odd as it seems, as long as you follow the basic rule in writing that the first and last letters are accurate, then you can be understood.

The careless spellers amongst us would not take the time to follow that rule either so the result would be the same: the reader needs to work like hell to understand the writer and is most likely to stop trying because of the effort it takes.
