Riester stethoscopes

Ok,

here is the deal, I am not searching through dozens of threads and hundreds of posts.

I am not looking for a discussion on what brand the best stethoscope is.

I have used multiple littmanns over a period expanding more years than I will admit to.

But recently I found myself using an otoscope and opthalmoscope made by Riester.

It is truly top quality equipment. I also noticed they make stethoscopes.

So before I give up my trusty Littmann and spend some money on one to try it out, I would like to solicit opinions from people who have actually used one.

What do you think of the quality?

Are you pleased with the function, comfort, etc.?

What is the best thing about it?

The worst?

Anything you want to add?

Just lazy I tell you.

I searched through every one that came up for Riester for you and this is the only thread found. Hope that helps.

Hey Vene I don't know much about the Riester stethoscopes, however, if you are still in the market for a littmann I can help you get one for a little cheaper. irs4you.com is can distrbuter for just about everything medical, from back boards and Statpaks. http://www.irs4you.com/littman.html will take you right to littmann part and if you do happen to want to buy something, use the checkout code RTJC3 for a 2% discount.

On a side note, if the Riester your totally want, do you know what model/make you are looking for and I might beable to get you hooked up with what you need. so let me know.

Thanks,

I wanted to get some opinion on the Riester. As I said I have used Littmanns for years and years. My current one I have had for more tha 10. It has never failed me or dissapointed.

I wanted to give Riester a go because I use other equipment they make which is of exceptional quality. I figured their stethoscopes couldn't possibly be lesser quality, which would mean they may far surpass the Littmann I use. (master cardiology)

Right now I am in Europe for the next several months, so I will just order one factory direct and try it out.

Thanks again for the offer.
