Off duty Erie firefighter involved in hit-and-run won't be disciplined

The off-duty firefighter and emergency medical technician who left the scene of a crash will not be disciplined for doing so, Erie Fire Chief Tony Pol said.

Corey L. Delio pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a crash that occurred Aug. 15.

Pol said that EMT requirements did not mandate that Delio stop to help since he was off duty.
