I really hope the psychologist who spent a whopping 2 weeks with her before pouring drain cleaner in her eyes at the very least lost his/her professional license if not face some sort of criminal charge..

That sounds about right, in today's society no one's accountable for anything, there's always someone/something else to blame.

This lady is clearly the result of reverse darwinism. People that never would have survived, or at least not have found a willing partner to procreate with a couple of hundred years ago, are now able to pass on their genetic material.

I think I'm going to start a new religion; clearly the makers of Idiocracy were prophets who have been sent to show America the future that lies ahead. Who's with me?

Hey guys, I have a mental disorder where I believe I should be rich. I'm seeing a counselor who said they will give me $100,000 to help cure me but I need $10 million. I'm going to start a kick starter page, will you all donate to help save me?

I've actually heard of this before (I don't remember where exactly). A guy was convinced that he shouldn't have a left leg so he applied a tourniquet for a long period of time and then went to the ED where they were forced to amputate his leg.

And the psychologist is allowed to support this? No criminal charge? That's what sickens me. Talk about playing along with a mental disorder.

Because it's a real disorder. It's not about "accountability" as someone thinks.

The cause of BIID is unknown. One hypothesis states that the cause of BIID is a neurological failing of the brain's inner body mapping function (located in the right parietal lobe). According to this hypothesis, the brain mapping does not incorporate the affected limb in its understanding of the body's physical form.
