So is it a study tool, or does he have access to the test that he's going to be given? If it's a study tool, then who cares.

Ok for instance you can type in a test question and it will give you the answer if that test question in the the quizlet bank. Its meant for you to use to study like a study quide but since alot of test questions are on it people use it to cheat.

Are these online exams? If its an in-class written exam, I can't see how reviewing a test bank is cheating. We could of course debate the merits of memorizing test banks as study tools, but that isn't what you're asking. If your program uses questions from an online test bank, shame on them for being lazy.

Alright, so it can be used for both. So my question is, do you know he is cheating and not just studying? Other than him normally scoring well, what makes you think he's cheating? To be clear, I don't condone cheating in the slightest. I also don't condone accusing somebody of cheating just because they score well (this happened to both me and my wife).

Let him cheat all he wants , When it comes down to the final exam and practicals and the examiner is in the room and he can't cheat, he just wasted 6 months when he fails ..

If he is cheating on graded assessments than that could be a problem. If not, well he is only deluding himself into thinking he'll be able to pass assessments that are closed book.

Eh I may be tempted to say something. Your teacher isn't doing a very good job watching people test. Especially for a midterm.

I would also say something to the teacher. It's possible that the teacher took a quiz from the internet but it's also possible a student put it on there. Either way, I would make them aware of it.

I knew someone that rarely read the chapters during EMT class because they "didn't have time" (Who does? You have to make the time!) and cheated on the quizzes. They ended up failing the written test and have yet to re-test.

Quite a few of my classes gives quizzes, and guess what? I have found many of the quiz questions on quizlet. this has led me to one undeniable conclusion: that teachers and professors use quizlet to get quiz and test questions and answers.

You can tell the professor but I would wager he or she already knows that the questions and answers are on quizlet.

It's not cheating, as everyone has access to the publicly available study resources.

This might sound harsh, but worry about yourself and your grades. His using quizlet doesn't affect you in any way, so trust that the instructor knows what he or she is doing (and hopefully not taking all the questions from quizlet).

Yeah, I am also among the train of thought to keep your head down and mind your own business. I don't know how the culture is at your institution, but I know at many places, being a "snitch" is not a good thing. There are certain times when you need to report cheating or incompetence, but a quiz in the classroom really isn't one of them IMO, especially because the character of the cheating is questionable.

Yea, it was kind of funny I did so well during my emt class getting no less than 98% on my tests that some people asked me directly how I scored so high every time and if I was cheating. To be honest I over studied for every test/quiz, I read the book multiple chapters ahead of the class and reviewed A&P books along with it as well as I redid many online tests that I saw were reliable primarily the massive amount of tests that were connected to my emt class that if I remember correctly were on a brady website but you had to have a code from your book to access it and a emt instructor's name and instructor code. This was a bank of tests organized for the book specifically having many tests for each chapter going from ch.1 all the way to ch.41. The instructors required these tests to be done for the class and recommended the students doing them until they got 100% on every one, which I did along with all of my reading. Funny thing is A LOT of people were failing their assess off on the tests in class, when some tests went through the scan-tron machine it was like a machine gun and everyone near it knew they more than likely failed. There was a few that had so many clicks that everyone knew for sure.
