Ended up being 200 vehicles involved. Everyone living within a mile was instructed to take shelter due to hazardous waste being spilled.

I am actually surprised this doesn't happen more often in areas where it gets icy (90% of the country). The way people drive and don't pay attention. Yesterday morning I was on the freeway, in an 80 MPH zone; with fog with visibility down to a couple hundred feet, slowed down to 30 MPH and was being passed and honked at

I think this is the same or close to the same spot we had like a 80 car pileup a year or 2 ago. I managed to be the last one they let on before they closed the highway both ways. It was a great 4 hr trip home with not one bit of traffic. I know there were a few co-workers involved who did a great job as well as a few who were unfortunately injured. It was a multi county response.
