Any info for EMTs?

I just spoke to a medic who used to work there. He told me it’ll probably be a couple months before any real changes make news.

What’s scheduling like for part time basics?

Sigh. It took me a year and a half to appreciate how terrible LA county really is. 1 year of ******** IFT, 5 months of county’s bull. Get outside the county if you can OP, it’s worth it.

I take back what I said. Avoid PRN. Incompetent dispatch, and they will try to make non DOTers run LA city calls. Supervisors will hassle you for requesting a bariatric gurney. No OT (rarely approved). Useless maintenance department. Only 8, 10, or 11 hour shifts. To get an 11 you have to work...
