Can you please remove my post?

It is imperative that you choose your words carefully before posting, as what you post is made available to the entire world. What you post in EMTLife will show up in search engine results, online archives, and even other websites for years to come. We suggest that you be careful what you post. Don't post anything specific (city, town, address, patients' names, etc.) or anything else that can get you in trouble legally.

Having said that, we do not remove posts based on user input or feedback. As long as your post doesn't violate a forum rule or law, it will remain public.

If you have any questions you can send us a message by clicking on Contact Us found at the bottom of every page.

Can you delete my account?

For administrative reasons, we do not delete user accounts. You are welcome to stop visiting the community if you no longer wish to contribute or participate in discussions.

If you would like us to disable your account, by removing your ability to contribute to the community, you may send us a message. Please understand that this will not remove your account or your posts from the forum. We will simply remove your ability to log into the forum.

It happens more than you think. You registered with our community and forgot all about us. Now you're ready to post in a thread or maybe create one of your own and you've forgotten your password. Don't worry, resetting your password can be done in just a few, simple steps.

Why am I receiving an error that I'm not allowed to create a post?

Sometimes you might receive an error saying that you're not allowed to post or start a new thread. It should look something like this:

Unregistered, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Here are some common mistakes:

  • You recently registered with our community and tried posting but didn't complete the registration process. You should have received an email which contained a link that you needed to click. Until you click that link you won't be able to post.
  • You're trying to post in the Advertising section with less than 10 posts. Per our rules you must have 10 posts before you can post there. Once you have 10 posts your account will be granted the proper privileges to post there. Please wait about an hour for the system to process and grant you access.
