CROWN POINT -- After pleading guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor, Jason R. Taylor, a former Lake Dalecarlia volunteer emergency medical technician, was given an 18-month suspended sentence Tuesday.

Prosecutors charged Taylor, 24, a year ago with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old with the department's Fire Cadet program.

Hmm... doesn't surprise me. I've heard rumblings of similar things in a lot of cadet or youth programs. (Not that it's right or acceptable, of course)
