Gathering 2006 - Orlando - What to do?

Disney World and the offshoots of it are great but it might get a little pricey...I'd hate to see any of us not being able to attend just because of that.

I will not be able to go, since my vacation is already requested & approved for Aug. We will be heading upto Ct to see some friends & spends a weekend there. Hopefully, I can make next year's gathering I would really like to meet F2F will all of you.

Yeah if we can actually make a decision on where and when perhaps we could make this a yearly event and change locations so everyone has a chance.

But we need to do the first one first lol. I've only been out to Orlando a couple of times to go to Epcot, Disney, MGM and the Rocky Horror Picture Show so I don't know the area real well.

MGM is probably the least pricey and more adult oriented than the rest...how about going there?

Remember, jetblue flies into Orlando. Cheap! So does Allegiant Air, and they fly out of smaller airports.

Why not go to Taco Bell(Purchase as many menu items as possible) then go
to McDonald's and as a customer approaches the counter; ask them if they
are interested in purchasing some Taco Bell?

Then you can get the local frequencies and go Ambulance chasing and heckle
the EMT's at the scene.

Afterwards, hit a local bar--play some pool, then get to those wild drunken
orgies I've been hearin abt. ;p

ROFLMAO! Acutally I have a Taco Hell problem myself, it'd be gone before we got to MacDonalds.

Well it's not like there isn't a lot of things to do in Orlando. It's only a 4 hour drive for us and I know for Chimpie it's even less. And there are lots of cheap flights into it. Maybe the first thing to ask is do we want this to be a weekend thing or one nighter? We could probably get a group rate at a decent hotel close to lots or even has it's own attractions.
