Hi was wondering if anyone new the basic EMS/paramedic managment for patients suffering with:
Superior Vena Cava Syndrome/obstruction
Hypercalcaemia?
Spinal cord compression?
Or if you have any of your own hints and tricks to best manage these patients?
Cheers
Kris

Hi was wondering if anyone new the basic EMS/paramedic managment for patients suffering with:
Superior Vena Cava Syndrome/obstruction: Treat for cardiac symptoms
Hypercalcaemia? See a doctor. (Hypercalcemia by the way)
Spinal cord compression? Board em.
Or if you have any of your own hints and tricks to best manage these patients? Follow Local Protocols

I didn't know they spelled differently.
So, I googled it just now.. Still looks to be wrong. IME
you know not to be rude, but to the original poster...you asked this same exact question on another board and had it answered pretty completely by the doctors and paramedics who responded to you.

Not to be rude, but there is nothing wrong with getting multiple sources of information to answer a question. Also, it can be very informative to other members of the forum.
